The Triple M Mid North Coast team convinced Strawny to shave his head for this year’s World’s Greatest Shave!
Blood cancer is Australia’s hidden cancer crisis, and there are over 140,000 facing blood cancer right now. It takes the lives of 16 Australians every single day and these numbers are set to double by 2035 unless we do something about it.
That’s why Strawny has signed up for The Greatest Shave – to drive awareness and raise money for The Leukemia Foundation.
Strawny from Triple M Mid North Coast has been fundraising for The Leukaemia Foundation. Their goal is $10,000 which they know they can reach with the help of our incredible community! This Saturday 9th March, they’ll be broadcasting live from Port City Bowling Club from 9am-12pm and officially shaving Strawny’s head, and they would love you to come along!
They’re encouraging businesses to participate by joining the team or to donate $200 or more for a shout out on air.
